Our school district Has been more than pleased with Cloud 9 World. Our students are excited to learn a new character trait for the month. They are engaged in the videos and are able to understand a deeper meaning of each trait. I love that the program offers such amazing ideas on how to implement these traits into the classroom. It does not provide any extra work for the teachers because they are able to use the provided resources given to them through Cloud 9. The teachers love wearing a badge with the character trait on it in order to reinforce to the students everyday effectively. "Crockett ISD loves the Cloud9 curriculum. We chose this curriculum due to the ease of implementation for our campus counselors and classroom teachers. The lesson plans and literature are perfect for the grade levels they address. The diversity of the program allows other content areas to be explored and the students love practicing the character traits they are taught through the Cloud 9 program. Besides the ease of implementation, we specifically chose Cloud 9 because it is a literacy based character education program. In Grand Prairie ISD we use Cloud 9 World in all of our Elementary Schools. Our students love the program and our Counselors really appreciate the fact that EVERYTHING is already done for them. The lessons, parent communications, morning announcements, certificates, posters, buttons, stickers, and much more!! We have seen a decrease in discipline referrals since using the program, too. We are ordering the new Mindset books and are excited about incorporating them into our program as well =)"

Windermere Preparatory School LOVES C9W !  We have been using the program for several years now, and consider it to be an integral part of our curriculum.  Students, teachers, and parents look forward to discovering each monthly trait.  The materials are attractive and inviting, and the students have fun connecting with the animal characters. Teacher resources include parent letters, award certificates, and many other items which allow teachers to share the program with a click of a button. This year we started using the 21st Century Series for our 3rd through 5th grade students.  The new program is wonderful.  The traits are more age appropriate, for these older students.

“We have had the pleasure of implementing the Cloud 9 character education program in our school this year. It has been wonderful to see the excitement in the children every month as we teach them about a new trait. We absolutely love reading the books to them in class and they look forward to taking their copy home to read with their families. The children love the cute animal characters and are using the vocabulary they are learning on a regular basis. They are portraying the traits they are learning about in their actions. We have even heard children complimenting their peers on demonstrating the traits. In our first grade classroom, we overheard a student tell his partner that he was proud of him for persevering through a difficult math problem! The implementation of this wonderful program is apparent in our school through the actions and language of the children as well as the artistic work they produce. We absolutely love the program and cannot wait to teach it again next year.”

“Our school uses the books and short videos, and our teachers are very happy with the associated lesson plans. The benefit of having our students, as well as our teachers receive a copy of each book is huge. I have to say the books are probably the most used, as teachers, students, parents, and even other members of the family benefit from their use, over and again.   I can’t promote this product, and the associated activities enough. I have said over and again, that I have not to date seen a program generate such interest on the part of teachers and staff, not to mention students and parents. I can without hesitation say we have complete buy-in at our school, and it is truly amazing to see the impact it has had on everyone. Simply put, it’s an awesome program.”

“A different character trait was chosen once a month and discussed daily during social studies. Teachers wore pins emphasizing the character trait and posters with the trait were displayed in each classroom and around the school. Two school-wide activities were carried out each month and teachers held individual classroom activities celebrating the trait. Students gained knowledge and enjoyed talking about character.  Students would often ask “What’s next month’s trait?” or “What trait are we going to celebrate in December?”  Celebrating character became fun, important, and meaningful to our students. In addition, Cloud 9 World’s program includes a class set of books that students were able to take home. At home, parents discussed the traits with their children and were given activities to carry out. It was a wonderful “full circle” approach to learning about character.”
