Children do not develop character, emotional regulation, and academic skill in separate tracks. Cloud9World is built on that premise. Each grade band addresses the same four areas of development, with content and language matched to what students are developmentally ready for at that age.
Character: Students build judgment, accountability, and perseverance through a sequenced set of character strengths spanning every grade band. Fifty strengths give each school the flexibility to focus on ten each year, matched to that school priorities, delivered in fifteen minute lessons once a week, with no preparation time required of teachers.
Mental Health and Wellness: Emotional regulation is taught as a foundation for learning, not as an add-on. Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 2 begins with Let us Learn About Emotions with Kiwi. Middle school includes separate content for grades six, seven, and eight, matched to the developmental differences between those three years. The Wellness Suite addresses self care, drug use and abuse prevention, internet safety, and child trafficking prevention, with a preventive approach appropriate to each age.
